Terms and Conditions of the Online Store

§ 1. General Provisions

  1. These terms and conditions, referred to as the “Terms,” define the rules for using the online store at https://deskwise.store, hereinafter referred to as the “Store.”
  2. The Store is operated by Deskwise Sp. z o.o., based in 64-980 Trzcianka, ul. Żwirowa 1, NIP: 7632144636, KRS: 0000867978, REGON: 387427158.
  3. Store contact details:
  4. Information on the processing of personal data (“Privacy Policy”) and the use of cookies (“Cookie Policy”) can be found at https://deskwise.store.
  5. Before using the Store, each person should read these Terms.
  6. Purchasing in the Store requires the Customer to have an active and functional email address.

§ 2. Definitions

The following terms used in these Terms mean:

  • Store: the online store available at https://deskwise.store, conducting distance sales.
  • Customer: any entity making a purchase in the Online Store in accordance with the Terms, including both Consumers and Entrepreneurs.
  • User: any entity browsing the Store’s website.
  • Customer Account: a profile containing data about transactions and facilitating order processing.
  • Newsletter: a service provided by the Store to Users who have consented to receive updates and information about the Store.
  • Consumer: an individual entering a legal transaction with a business not directly related to their business or professional activities.
  • Entrepreneur: an individual, legal entity, or organizational unit without legal personality conducting business or professional activities.
  • Business Days: Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • Terms: this document outlining the rules for using the Store and purchasing products.
  • Registration: voluntary provision of data by the Customer by filling out a form on the Store’s website.

§ 3. Scope and Types of Store Operations

  1. The Store conducts distance sales of furniture products via the Internet.
  2. The products offered are new.

§ 4. Technical Requirements

  1. To use the Store correctly and without disruption, the Customer’s device should meet the following minimum requirements:
    • An active internet connection,
    • Enabled cookies and JavaScript,
    • An active email address.
  2. The Store is not obligated to provide the above devices and/or software.
  3. The Store’s website is optimized for a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600.

§ 5. Purchasing Rules

The Store will present the Customer with the following information before confirming a purchase:

  1. Detailed description of the product and its features,
  2. Total price including taxes, delivery costs, and the selected delivery option,
  3. Payment methods and terms,
  4. The method and deadline for the Store to fulfill the order.

Ordering Process:

  1. Orders can be placed without registration via the form available on the Store’s website.
  2. The Customer places an order after reviewing the information presented in the Terms and the details specific to the order, confirming agreement by clicking “Order with Obligation to Pay.”

§ 6. Order Processing Time

  1. The processing time for all desks is 4 to 6 weeks, excluding holidays.
  2. The processing time for other products is up to 6 weeks.

The production time for all products is due to the extensive personalization options available.

For products such as desks (models Liv, Matt, Lagom, Tystnad, Alskar) and the Fin shelf, each order is custom-made based on a range of options to choose from.

§ 7. Complaints

  1. The Customer has rights under the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
  2. The Store is responsible for defects in products sold. Complaints can be submitted by email to serwis@deskwise.pl or by letter to ul. Żwirowa 1, 64-980 Trzcianka.

§ 8. Right to Withdraw from the Agreement

  1. Consumers may withdraw from the sales agreement within 14 days without reason.
  2. The withdrawal period begins upon the Consumer receiving the product.
  3. To withdraw, the Consumer must notify the Store in writing or via email.
  4. The Store must refund payments within 14 business days of receiving the withdrawal notice and product.

§ 9. Information about Wooden Materials

All wooden and wood-based materials have the right, due to their natural properties, to work/change dimensions within specified tolerance ranges. The behavior of the above-mentioned materials is influenced by factors such as air humidity, ambient temperature, and distance from the heat source. In extreme cases, when the material is directly exposed to a heat source with a temperature above 45 degrees Celsius, cracks are possible due to the resulting thermal stresses.

Natural wood
In the case of countertops made of solid wood and solid wood combined with natural Forbo linoleum, there may be dimensional deviations (length, width, thickness) and deviations in edge straightness and rectangularity.

Due to the specific application and processing of solid wood, which adapts the material to be suitable for countertops, we reserve the right to apply internal standards that the customer accepts at the time of purchase. The standards apply to the finished product, hereinafter referred to as the product.

Transport

Please be advised that the delivery and/or assembly service is provided by an external entity.

Deskwise is not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation.

Packages and contents (mainly desk products) should be inspected in the presence of suppliers, and any discrepancies must be included in the transport company's delivery report. Particular attention should be paid to the desk top (large package) and electric columns (small package). This protocol constitutes the basis for further complaint actions.
